From majestic mountains with an active volcano to the Pacific coast, this realm thrives with a symphony of diverse flora and fauna, crafting a harmonious sanctuary that boasts unparalleled biodiversity and intricate ecosystems.
Yet, the Sierra Alegre’s fertile lands have suffered due to intensive farming practices, depleting them of their vitality through non sustainable avocado, berry, sugarcane, and agave cultivation.
Our mission is to lead the way in regenerative farming, securing a legacy for future generations while protecting the diverse plant and animal species that call this place home.
In recent decades, the fertile lands of the Sierra Alegre have endured the impact of industrial agriculture, notably avocado, berry, sugarcane, and agave cultivation – This has stripped the soil of vital nutrients, felled ancient forests, and severely disrupted local wildlife habitats.
Our commitment involves researching, engineering and adopting sustainable agave cultivation and perennial pomegranate orchards.
With a foundation in regenerative and biodynamic farming, our goal is to establish a pesticide-free agave production system that leaves natural corridors within cultivated areas so as to nurture a habitat for the diverse life forms that contribute to a thriving ecosystem.
Agave Rewilding Project
In these initial phases of our journey, we are proud contributors to the Agave Rewilding Project Additionally, we are raising awareness about local birds of prey in nearby schools and eagerly anticipate engaging in Jaguar conservation efforts.
Our commitment remains steadfast in regenerating and rewilding the Sierra Alegre, the very birthplace of our inspirational spirit.
